Comm. Accounting degree with a strong Human Resources subject orientation. Amazing, and always learning.. Its always a busy Industry and very fast paced..

During a typical work week, one of my biggest tasks is checking in on my staff and assessing their progress on various projects. I like to meet first thing on Monday to discuss our priorities for the week, then meet again in the middle of the week to check progress, and meet once at the end of the week to discuss goal setting for the next week. I meet with smaller groups of my staff during the middle of the week to troubleshoot any issues. For example, during a recent mid-week meeting, I noticed one team was a few days behind on a long-term project. I met with the team and, together, we came up with a strategy for increasing efficiency among the team. Along with constant interaction with my team, I also attend a weekly board meeting where I present my department’s progress to the executive board. On Fridays, once all these tasks are completed, I make sure I have completed all necessary communication for the week via email and in person, and create a list of priorities for next week.

Cons: Shift work and work all holidays.

Dont be fooled

In the job you learn a lot , but you are required to give the same amount as a result an inbalance develops between personal life and work life , sorry for you family .

Good learning curve if you need an experience in hospitality industry and if you want to learn

Working hard everyday its always busy and hectic, no overtime payment and payment for working on Sundays. Relationship with co- workers is good except for some management who are blocking the growth of other people.what I learn everyday is to love what am doing and respect myself and everyone who is working with me; taking care of my guest know their needs and recognise them; what I enjoy is meeting new people everyday and communicating with them people from different backgrounds and cultures; the most challenging part is working with difficult guests and staff members and what is important is to solve whatever issue you were facing at that time!

Growth

Working ar 54 on Bath has been a great learning experience for me. I have created work relationships as well as friendships. I was lucky to get this perminent position straight after graduation, i gained all my experience working at 54 on Bath, as well as being able to train in the Reservations department.

Excellent learning from proffesionals

One of the duties that responsible for everyday is do filling and monitored third year students that are doing training in tourism management. providing guidance to the first years student. printing and typing prospectors and the career that opportunities that are available in tourism. I have a good relationship with my colleges, that provides mutual understanding in to add a dynamics in the working environment. I have learn how to commit my self to work as a team-work. and as self motivation working towards achieving goals of the institution. i enjoy to be part of the tourism industry and activities based on the conferences and expo. The most challenging aspect of the job is to solve the problems that face the department of tourism in Walter Sisulu University.

the company is active and very challenging it an enjoyable experience to work for Tsogo sun i make sure to give the best customer service to our customers in order to maintain good relationship,the stuff members are very friendly and supportive we always do team work and have each other back.i have learnt consistency and how to manage myself without supervision.i enjoy working in a friendly environment.getting fussy customers and have too give the best service. we also come across rude customers who demands and show no respect for you.and the challenge that comes with the casino being very busy you always have to be on point with a smile and be helpful that requires you be resourceful and speed up your service.but other than that it a great experience and a lovable atmosphere
