Good learning curve

In my time at True Blue Group, I have mainly focused on stock controls, analysing variances and assisting in the preparation of reports for management. I have worked closely with the Accounts team and have learnt to use Accpac for processing and to generate necessary reports. I have also assisted others in using the system as well. Though employed as Cost Analyst, I have assisted in various areas within accounts such as performing bank reconciliation, reconciling trade and other creditors and assisting in the preparation of management account. The most challenging aspect in my role would have to be that deadlines are tight, especially when the same deadline applies to all 3 companies that the Group owns, each in vastly different markets- SA, Mozambique & Namibia, and communication across the borders does impact on getting information within these timeframes.

Good opportunities to learn a full function rather than work doing only one aspect eg recruitment

Good opportunity for beginners. Diverse culture. Difficult to work with certain seniors. Company has grown very fast, possibly to its detriment. Company could not handle its growth and needed to bring in change initiatives.
