I developed from plant operator to acting production supervisor.

I am currently employed as a Process Controller at Tronox Namakwa Sands and have 6 years’ experience as Acting Shift Foreman. My current duties include running the plant as the Senior Supervisor in the absence of my supervisor. In this capacity, I have 12 colleagues who report to me, both inside and outside the plant. I have to ensure that the plant runs smoothly and that any breakdowns in processes are fixed with immediate effect. The goal at the end of each shift is to ensure that the processed product is produced at the desired quality grade, all machinery is kept in optimum working condition and that the plant is clean for the next shift.

Pros: At Tronox we believe in developing the employees to gain more knowledge on the respective departments in order to have a sustainable company.
Cons: Work overtime from time to time on shutdowns or when staff shortages arrise

Excellent hands on, experienced professional

Furthermore I am medically fit, am in possession of a valid driver’s licensed fully computer literate. I therefore believe that I am a perfect fit for this vacancy and will be an asset to your organization. We currently reside on the West Coast in a town Vredendal where I am employed as Group Leader: E&I at a mine. My family are ready to relocate anywhere in the world as I am ready for my next challenge.

I've developed as a senior production operator and act as shift foreman from time to time

Tronox is a well established and sustainable company. I'v learned alot and gain both laboratary and plant (production) experiences. We conduct the "brothers keeper" stigma and adhere to OHSAct to continuously work in a safe maner

Pros: Develope from entery level to manager
Cons: Shift work last for 12 hrs on a 4 day cycle
