Excellent learning curve.

Role and Responsibilities: First point of contact with clients; Written and telephonic consultation with clients; Amending, suspending or cancelling flight bookings; Constantly maintaining a high quality and error free handling of tasks; Servicing clients via phone and email within a designated time frame; Monitoring bookings that have been placed on the amendments queue; Offering clients options to reservations (e.g. finding alternative flights/dates etc); Working with and applying airline rules on both international and domestic carriers; Updating bookings with changes after confirming with client and sending out updated information; Processing payment ; Close cooperation with suppliers in order to find best solution for clients; Maintaining good and improving existing or initiating new relationships with suppliers; Providing excellent customer service adhering to quality and quantity standards as specified by the company.

Great experience.

The opportunity that i was presented was I've grown from the moment i walked in to the office, everyone was great like they would always listen to the next persons views and how to get around things, I've learnt a great deal not only in the department i worked in as well as the industry as a whole. i was passionate about doing my daily tasks and learning new things, there was also hard time when things doesn't go your way but you learn to deal with it and make the best of it.

Pros: not expected to do more than is given to you.

Great experience and skills

It has been good working at my company, I am gaining my experience and skills as much as possible. I enjoy working with people I work with at Travelstart and have a good relationship with co-workers. What enjoy the most providing good customer service to clients. The challenges there not alot of opportunities within the company.

Excellent cultural ethics

Hi there The company has an amazing culture. We would always assist the clients to beyond call of duty. We would keep them.up to speed with newslwtters . And always to eliminatimg escalations.

No exposure to utilise my qualification

- authorise payments - performance management of team - I have learned nothing technically relevant in finance but soft skills in interpersonal skills - most challenging aspect is taking responsibility for tasks assigned to others
