Answer all calls and transfer to relevant parties and capturing of clock in & out times and putting them on a spared sheet as Time Sheet for payment to the workshop employees weekly, Responsible for files and filling of correspondence and Invoice checked weekly, creating of new employee file or termination on employee file. CIDB re-registration process yearly, deal with Enquiries from clients and also preparation of quotes to clients for work, Preparation of Tender and compiling up relevant documentation for Proposal Of Tender, update the job list every month for all the work we have, dealing with the company profile & website.

Negotiations, Strategic Sourcing and Tender process
Attending to telephone calls everyday is normal in our environment as I deal with tenders. My kind of work also involves dealing with email from the public enquiring about opportunities and also from our internal steakholders. I also chair the Cross Functional Sourcing Team if there is a new requirement or an existing requirement to understand if there has been changes. I also chair the Cross Functional Evaluation Team (CFET) during evaluations of tenders. I also prepare for recommendations to the Acquisition Council (AC) once the evaluations have been completed. I also lead the negotiations once the AC has approved the recommendations. Load contracts on SAP. Monitor contract usage on SAP and run SAP reports

I am currently working as acting Engineering manager in HT and Automation dept. I have 7 technicians, 1 supervisor, 2 technical manager, 5 artisans and 6 tradehands. my core function is to support operation on 11KV, 3.3kv AND 400Vac power supply on the equipment's and Siemens PLC and VSD, SCADA, Wireless communication, weighing systems maintenance. managing and initiating SOW for upgrade projects for more than 20years equipment's and also for those equipment that have no spares available on the market. business core function is to import and export cargo and break bulk materials. our organization has conveyor systems approximately +/- 75 conveyor belts and ship loaders and unloaders, stackers and reclaimers etc.
Pros: willing to relocate and work anywhere in the country.
Cons: flexible to do standby, work extra hours or to work shift depending on the business requirement.

Graduate trainee at TPT
Great working hours. In terms of establishing working relationships difficult and limited accountability. Being a graduate trainee work is limited and training not structures, but I do enjoy learning from willing and knowledgeable people who have got great interpersonal skills.

Management experience gained
The work experience gaind as a Business Case Developer is of management, and that is exactly what i needed in my career. I am responsible for managing all the stake holders while compiling a business case, engaging all the relevent people for tje information needed in tje business case. This experince included conducting meeting with managers of other departments, constant email engagements and telephone.

Review for my current role
I am currently heading continuous improvement and Management Information System departments where I am responsible for Improvements of the terminal’s efficiencies and service quality by actively monitoring and addressing the following: Leading the Continuous Improvement team to ensure efficient implementation of lean six sigma project within the region. Currently I have a good working relationship which was made possible because of highlighting the fact that I am responsible for the performance improvements so if they need to shine they must use me to take them to the next level. I enjoy problem solving and coming up with the solutions for challenges. The most challenging thing is change management people have difficulty on change but with the tools for change management we are able to make effective change.
Pros: I have been trained on lean and I since have be practising the implementation of lean tools on daily basis some of the training I undergo was at GE in USA
