Got to learn alot about water pumps and design in general

Working at Total Blasting is very exciting in terms of the systems that I designed and applications I had to work with. I have learnt an immense amount about high pressure water systems, I get to design multi-million Rand systems for clients like Mercedes-Benz, and I get to do this in a team of great people. I love working for this company, but the remuneration is not enough to sustain my family, and I cannot see any huge salary increase in the future, which is the only reason I am looking to move.

Pros: Opportunity to work with cutting edge technology, designing custom solutions for specific problems, forgiving work environment that respects the fact that we have personal lives too
Cons: No benefits, only technical/engineering employee

Exposure to new industries

Working here is challenging and exciting in terms of the fact that I am not busy with the same things every day. The people who work here are good fun and honest people. The company is one of the leading suppliers of ultra-high pressure (2800bar) and medium pressure (1000bar) pumps and equipment and they always strive to keep customers happy, sometimes regardless of the employees needs.
