Deeper understanding of business acumen and processes

A typical work day, for me, begins just after 6am. I like an early start. My four Directors arrive and I am briefed every morning and given a list of tasks to perform. Sometime these will require delegation and there is no shortage of willing and helpful colleague to assist where necessary. These last four years and eight months have afforded me a deeper understanding of business acumen and processes as well as developing inter-personal relationships with both colleagues and clients. I enjoy completing a task above expectation quickly and accurately. My multi-task filled day enables me to do this with much satisfaction.

Pros: My day is exciting and no two days are ever the same. I am challenged constantly.
Cons: Due to the recent dip in the oil price our company will be forced to downscale and cut employees hours. Sadly this dismal current situations is forcing me to explore alternate employment.

Know your co-workers

An incredibly busy environment with lots happening all the time. Constant changes and numerous client requests. A typical day will start early and end late. Because of the busy environment there is not a lot of time to chat or interact with co-workers, however when the opportunity presents itself there's a special bond,when people work together every doing something they really joy and all share that buzz that energy, they grow closer. Your job should be fun, you should enjoy what you do and enjoy the folks you work with.Try to really get to know your co-workers and your staff. Don't be afraid to show that you care. Make time to step away from the office and spend time with family and friends. The challenges that this job presents are unique and everyday there is something new that we need to figure out or find a way to overcome. That's the best part it's never the same everyday is different. That's awesome lack of co-operation, ineffective communication.

Pros: Very rewarding when it all comes together
Cons: Remuneration not as rewarding, no benefits.

My life as a rope access technician

My typical work day is always productive with an excellent team. Everyday is a learning experience in the rope access world . What I enjoy most is abseiling off a 100m building , itsunami so much fun. The most challenging aspects in my job is vertical aiding and the fact that Im a freelance contractor where I work when there is work . So I'm seeking for permanent employment that's my most challenging aspect now.

Pros: no promotion
Cons: long working hours with no benifits
