Growth and development possible

Having been exposed in a chemical industry before, now in both a chemical and food production company, I am gaining much more experience in terms of safety management. Being involved in the product quality where I ensure the customer is happy but and so are the employees. My aim it to go home at the end of each day having reached short terms goals like to decrease dead time, unnecessary stops and to improve the relationship with the staff members. I believe that working with happy employees gives much and sustainable development from grass root level upwards. This does not mean disciplining employees is not important but it means if employees are responsible enough and they love their jobs, they will be more keen to do the correct steps in terms of safety and improve on their behavior at work, thus there will be less needs to discipline them as they will already be on the right path for growth.
