Tiso Blackstar Reviews

Survival mode

As an organization we are in survival mode, and that stems from a lack of vision and strategic thinking at an executive level. Been there so long that work colleagues are family, yet to be brutally honest lack the capabilities needed to lead to take the business forward. They still stuck in a legacy of complacency. I have learnt to adapt, and to always remain agile . And to know and realize that the only constant is change. Media is a powerful weapon, and working with a very diverse hours of people is the best part of my day as every day is different. Engaging clients at a strategic level and providing solutions to their needs is what gets me up every morning. The most challenging aspect of the job is managing people, and getting them to transform as most people within the organization have been there for years and have never experienced difficult times ..

Pros: Great media assets
Cons: Bad executive leadership

Team collaboration

In my team there is collaboration and team effort. Every day we get to learn something new from peers. We deal with challenges head on and we are not afraid to get our hands dirty. As a manager, my aim to ensure alignment and constant engagement.

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: No opportunity for growth
