International Exposure

My day starts at 05h00 in the morning, checking media report on any significant security event that warrants me to distribute a message to staff giving advice, warning or caution as they make their way to work. In the office I check on current and important e-mails and attend to that first, I catch up on admin, review my planning schedule, and complete tasks that are due shortly. I will also walk round the office and check on staff to see if there is anything they would like to bring to my attention regarding security. I review the Occurrence Book (OB Book) and see if there are any significant incidents that need my attention or follow up. I will ensure that the security guards are neatly dressed and at their posts. I enjoy most the interaction with staff, giving advice and putting them at ease about the crime situation in the country, the best way to engage with your client and your customers are face to face. That enhances relationships and makes the person feel important.

Pros: International exposure oportunity
Cons: 24 hour availability
