Mainly non office based and payment per hour

I receive a salary on a per hour basis of working. These hours are not determined by me but rather by admin who decides the hours to give each worker per week. If the hours are low, I do not get a good salary. I am required to travel to different schools to facilitate and travel is charged by time taken to reach destination. This does not cover actual car and petrol costs. There are no benefits.

Pros: Great experience working with children with special needs
Cons: Salary is not good and it’s a physically exhausting job

Ok for entry level

Its a ok for entry level and accumulating experience. It's a good start for a psychology career path but one wouldn't need to stay long. It is a good place where one can learn different types of children and their different characters so to enhance in future endeavors

Pros: Great opportunity of working with different kids and learning different characters
Cons: Less promotional opportunities and no benefits

Excellent work that we do for children with autism and other developmental disorders

This job that I do is very important because we deal with children on the autism spectrum and we help them using a behavioural approach. We work hard and we push to achieve greatness for the kids.

Pros: Great learning and starting point
Cons: Not a structured company

Wonderful Job, Challenging Workplace

Excellent opportunity to learn more about a dynamic field of work, surrounded by young, dynamic individuals. Time management, self-startedness, resilience and excellent interpersonal skills will be gained but punctuated by a lack of appropriate HR practices, retention and succession systems.
