The Practice Reviews

Has been an excellent learning curve

A typical work day would start out with checking that everything is functioning at the practice. Report anything that needs to be repaired and arrange with necessary contractors. Check on any messages and emails, return phone calls and reply to emails. Do the billing of all the biokineticists and physiotherapists. Make appointments. Do stock take and petty cash. I have a loyal relationship with colleagues, it is not professional to build up any animosity amongst co-workers. I have a very professional relationship with the patients/clients. To ensure that their accounts are always correct for submission to medical aid. I have learnt tolerance and above all I enjoy liasing with my colleagues and the patients. I have an aptitude to observe and am able to inform the instructor of any patient that may present a bit differently on the day.

Pros: I would love to extend my experience
Cons: Small company

Fantastic company no room to grow

My Work day started at 08:00 checking all messages left on the answering machine calling the patients booking them for appointments. answering the phone capturing data of new patients all information welcoming patients in the reception area. invoicing and issuing receipts. my relationship with my co-workers we were family everyday happy. what i learnt in my 12yrs in the company is to work hard under pressure cause i was working for 3 Doctors at a time doing all their bookings and takings at the end of the day reconciling never been short my joy was meeting and greeting people everyday was exiting The most challenging aspect of my job was juggling between the three doctors organising their day without cross booking anyone and making sure their payments in cash reconciled daily

Pros: fantastic company to work for
Cons: no room to grow

Happy place of work

making and receiving calls booking clients, all admin work, welcoming new clients at reception area, filing, taking patients files for the day to doctors, receiving payments from clients reconciling daily checking all medical supplies and stationery. my co-workers was my family away from home. my most challenging task at work was working for three doctors doing all reception and admin for all without mixing the money and patients. i have learnt to work under pressure and still smile cause this practice was very busy and PATIENTS was the key

Pros: Meeting new people every day from the secretary to movie stars and models
Cons: No growth and no funds
