Tenova Pyromet Reviews

Very good company to with. Large international backing

The day to day activities involve designing, calculating and monitoring of draftsmen and other resources. Some systems require FEA's and sometimes CFD's. Most projects fall into 1 of 2 categories. Some are just a study that might go over into a full project and others are full projects. The projects and studies are for total turnkey or sometimes only part of a bigger projects. The relationship between co-workers and different departments are very good. I have learned a lot about the furnace and all the equipment and processes around the furnaces. I enjoyed the challenge that came with every job. This is also the biggest challenge of the job, because no two furnaces are the same and if it is not a greenfield project, the challenge is even greater.

Pros: big variety of engineers are kept busy on a large project.
Cons: the mining sector is down at the moment
