Wonderfull environment and clients

 I enjoy working with people  I relate well to her peers and subordinates  I am a hard worker and willing to put in extra hours  I can handle conflict.  I am a natural leader. I managed my team through changes in an upper mangement system (5 different managers’ in 2 years), each manager wanted re-do things his way, thereby continually implementing changes and reviewing positions held and training etc. I have also managed my team through 3 retrenchment processes, not losing 1 single staff member until the third and final processes, when all site based staff were retrenched.  I enjoy the challenge of a new project e.g., starting the small Support Desk for Fedsure Health I.S Department. Assisting with the setup of the support desk at Gijima for the Department of Justice, and setting up a new support desk for VoIS at Internet Solutions.  I was employed by Tenet to establish a National Operations Centre in Johannesburg.

have also completed my CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) as well as CCNP (Cisco Certified Professional with one of the most sought after international institution TORQUE-IT, in September 2007 even though now has expired. I am a hard worker.reliable and independent thinker

It was a great, diverse and awesome experience.

On a normal day it can get very busy. You work with Junipers, Alcatel and Cisco devices that are interlinked together in the MPLS network. When many links go down, the office becomes tense. We had a great relationship with co-workers but had issues with management and how they handled us at times. I learnt how to work on 4 different platforms (i.e Alcatel, Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet), this has improved my troubleshooting skills and knowledge about the internet / network. I am a person who enjoys solving problems, documenting things and finding new ways to better manage incidents on the network. Interacting with clients, resolving their issues and making sure that their needs are met. The most challenging aspect of my work was hostile management, favortism and nothing more. The work requires you to always be on your toes and work hard to become better.

Pros: Great place to become well skilled in all platforms. e.g. Juniper. CISCO, Alcatel, Fortinet etc etc.

Hard worker

- Monitoring DWDM RING by logging into the Cisco 0NS 14545 - Monitoring the SANReN Backbone using IRIS system - Making sure that the Tertiary Institution get required Bandwidth - Call the Customer to troubleshoot the fault. - Experience with BGP,IS-IS and MPLS. - Experience with Cisco 800 Series, Cisco CRS, Cisco ME- 4924, juniper EX 4200 and MX80, CISCO 7600. Alcatel Lucent
