What I have learned

I have learned to be team player,and understanding teamwork.I have acquired ability to capture and store discrete patient data – such as weight, diagnosis, medications, lab results, review of systems, plan of care, and health maintenance protocols. When captured as discrete data elements, as opposed to a textual document, your system is in a better position to produce detailed statistical output that can support reports and trend analysis research. This will be critical going forward to provide support for the proposed meaningful use standards for interoperability. This will be difficult for textual-oriented systems to achieve. Converting patient visit notes into correspondence is another area to evaluate. There may be patient data the physician wants to include in a referring physician letter, for example. That data may have been captured in a previous visit or is information that is outside the scope of the current encounter documentation.

Testing including counselling of clients, raising awareness and having to help around the facility sometimes with capturing or handing out medication packages

Good excellent curve

We working 8 hours 5 days per week and weekends when necessary. We work as per teamsand also with out side staleholders like other NGOs and Dept of Healtj Dept of Edication etc.i am line manager in my team and we working well.Engaging with patients is tje most enjoyable patt .

Excellent work ethics

Company with many officials and committed to service the people , its a company to work for as it has so many opportunities for young and old nurses. my qualification and experience in the HIV/Aids qualifies me for this job and would perform to my level best to make sure that the company achieve its objectives and targets

Good learning curve

Well it was n organization but now it's a company. It pays little but most saddening is how the company treats it's employee, with disrespect, yes we learn alot each and every day but every now and then they can atleast show us they appreciate what we are doing and just say Thank You

Challenging and create platform for skills growth

I work with such a great team on an outreach programme as a team leader. Our everyday community challenges are addressed positively through positive team spirit. Our DREAMS (pilot programme) creates learning through interaction with young people.

It's a good company with lots opportunities.

The company is fast growing it is in all 8 provinces. It has every professional personnel. I worked here with both the executive and senior managers to archive company set targets. I worked in different regions of eastern cape different programs of which I like that. To get an exposures and experience.

Great experience and learning opportunity.

I work collaboratively with the team, and as a team supervisor I ensure all the procedures are being done properly . We have a good relationship with each other as a team , as much as the work is stressful , but the relationship we have helps to lesson the work pressure and makes the working environment the enjoyable place to be .

Cons: Limitations interns of learning something everyday, because we deal with only one thing which is medical male circumcision.
