Good company to work for

I always give my all to internal and external customer alike. My role serves to double check Service Adviser's, Technician's as well as Quality Controller's work functions due to the high amount of accurate administration that is needed to accurately claim from VW Germany. I also have to supply information to Sales staff and customers when called upon or face-to-face.Due to knowledge of internal systems our IT department regularly asks for advice on certain methods of usage. Although my work is very detail orientated, it is a job that keeps you very busy and always striving to be as accurate as possible. You spend lots of time teaching people the same thing over and over, but it is nice when they eventually grasp what you have taught them.

Pros: Your position is highly respected in the company as you seem to be the backbone of your department
Cons: You are constantly busy and you sometimes get overlooked when applying for other positions as your knowledge and experience is valuable

Challange

I'm currently working as a Creditors Clerk. We are 4 people in the Creditors team. We are 16 people in the office. I started as a Admin Assistant and worked my way up to a Creditors Clerk. I work great in a team. I work with 3 of our intermal companies. Which has up 180 creditors. I also handle the companies cash creditors as well.

Pros: The pros is the people I work with and I love what I do.
Cons: the cons is I need room to grow.

Wonderful colleagues who make the office culture better than most companies

High volume work load but with great colleagues who make the most menial tasks fun and enjoyable. I have learnt a large variety of tasks within the Finance department and I have enjoyed the challenge and reasonable freedom I am given to manage my own tasks and time.

Pros: Wonderful work atmosphere with supportive colleagues
Cons: Low remuneration and unpaid work from home to ensure work is up to date

Great atmosphere

It's very nice as we are a disciplined team I always get assistant whenever I need it. Learning opportunities, manager considers my opinions, I learn new things everyday

Good Peoples skills and Good relationship with fellow colleagues. Meeting deadlines .

A typical work day is allocating money to different accounts. Sort out queries via email or telephone calls. Following up on customers. Hand over of outstanding accounts. Printing of age analysis. Clearing recons Do different journals on accounts.

Pros: Seeking new ventures
Cons: No Dec holidays and long hours

Great learning curve

My work day starts with allocating of payments from our Bank statement. Solving queries via email and telephonically. Making out staff accounts on a daily basis. Hand over of outstanding clients. Following up on clients payments. Recons month ends Running of statements Posting of statements Good relation ship with colleagues.

Pros: Great oppertunity to advance in company
Cons: Working Dec Holidays

My working day is splitiing our B/Statement and allocating payments.

Check age analysis and follow up with debtors. The most challenging aspect of my work is to see that all my debtors pay on time and that we have a good relationship. I have learnt that you need to be a listener and not just a teller. Create and open new accounts. My relationship with my co workers is very good because I can work with any race and I am a good communicator and peoples person.

Pros: To be a Bookkeeper

Great company

I really enjoyed working there, it is a family inviroment. They look after there staff. Thanks for the opertunity you gave me. Normal working hours. Easy to locate. Very big dealership with the best service given to clients. . . . . . .

Great working experience

Tavcor motor group is a well established company with exciting brands and great staff. Like any other company it provides opportunities for growth and progress within the brand. The main focus of the company is to provide high quality service to customers and to maintain high levels of productivity from staff members.
