No more secutity

The mine we are working on is terminating the contract so there is no more job security or support from management. We all feel as if we have been let down. Have taken salary drops and have no communication with our management

Working with 220 tons is a good mining experience

Tau mining company is a developing company with lot of opportunies in coal mining. It start in the Northern Cape and now they got a new opportunity at Klipspruit of which is their first site they ran on coal mining.

Pros: Good experience
Cons: Long working hours

Good day I am Renier 31, workedfor 11years at AngloGOld Ashanti as a buyer for the Anglo African mine site. Working on SAP, I used to obtained 3 quotes per item if possible and also atrrange transport to Africa. Currently i am the senior buyer at Tau Mining, they are in the coal sector where i run sites myself

Boilermaker welder standbys to trust work with everyone safe money for company

RSepair maintenance o etc.Doing Repair mai1s13ntenance on drill,shovel,pipes,chutes etc.Doing standbys,like to work wit other co workers because no one is perfect and can learn from some other,work safely and respect employers rules and like to building the company and safe money for the company,etc to work wit other co workers because no one is perfect and can learn from some other,work safely and respect employers rules and like to building the company and safe money for the company,etc

Cons: Working 40 hours if company needs worked to be done for safety and etc will work over 40 hours to get company running

Great exposure

Experience gained is by far the best I have ever gained, exposure to different equipment from different manufacturers, from small vehicles to one of the largest Earthmoving Equipment in the world
