Good learning skills ,mostly when it comes to manual things.
I work 9 hour Shift per day and 30 minutes break.Flights lands every on a hour. And park on parking bays for 40 minutes.if flights are delayed no one is allowed to go home until it lands down.i only get one or two day offs per week. And one weekend off per month. We Swissport SA handle 24 flights per day in the baggage hall.14 Flights in the morning shift and 10 afternoon shift.There are 14 staff operating in per shift.one shift Supervisor,one BRS Officer, four Scanning outbound bags,four offloading inbound bags from Reciever,three drivers and one clearing fragiles from lateral. and scanners and drivers are roasted per flight. we always work under pressure to keep up with time frame.Sometimes i come across challenges daily ,ending up unable to recognised a challenge.Whereby staff book of sick. or to much of work needed more staff.
Pros: I'm in a company where opportunities are limited, unless if someone resign ect.

Leadership skills I've learnt due to working with high number of employees and be able to delegate
Basically work wise it was good due to doing what I like capturing data from these system to another dealing with clients eg SAA, ACSA, BIDAIR and there Aviation clients. My co-workers was nice and welcoming having to work with different cultures and races coming from out of Western Cape and within. My challenges were few due to me being able to adapt and communicate but I had some co-workers not doing the work correct so had to take responsibility and train at time which some were older then me.
Pros: Good work ethic

Excellent learning curve
My day to day work includes flight edits and ensuring that flight specials are planned accordingly. Manage flights overbookings and advise passengers of any problems regarding their tickets reservation Ensure that Staff are well mannered at check-in counters and offer best customer services to our clients and passengers.
Pros: have more insight of the aviation industry

Excellent, vibrant, highly pressurized and regulated Industry
Working for a Ground Handler at the Airport, is a learning curve, into all facet of the Aviation Industry, where a typical day the key aspects surround the Safe Passage of a Passenger, from boarding to the final destination is guaranteed without any inconvenience. Through co-workers team work - strategic planning the journey under a highly pressurized regulated operation the journey for the passenger normally runs smooth. Challenge to trust that your co worker, completes the chain in achieving your goals

Leaning curve
My Name is THULANI Mazibuko from vereeniging and work for swissport sa based at or tambo airport I'm an assistant mechnic, still have alot to learn , I love doing engine overhaul but do to the structure at my current workplace doesn't allow that to happen often , when stuck we always help each other to finish jobs on time
