Supersport Reviews

Perfect environment to professionally grow your career

It's multi racially diverse environment and allows one to share their experience with people from different backgrounds. Various opportunities for growth within the organisation. Management is open to new ideas to help move the company forward and these ideas are rewarded with the most unexpected results.

Pros: Up skill and professional growth
Cons: Shift work

One of the biggest broadcasters in the world.

-Its a brilliant company to work for with nice benefits however there is no clear growth plan in the division I work for. -The company may not have a clear vision on how to tackle the digital streaming space since companies like Netflix and Amazon have mastered the online streaming space, so there is a threat on linear.

Pros: The company has monopolized (lack of a better word), the television landscape and there so much to learn there when you are interested in TV, from how its made, how rights are acquired and so forth.
Cons: Limited career growth.

Engaged and Continued Learning culture

I'm skilled and qualified in HR Management and Generalist functions in unionised and non unionised environments. Am strong on Admin and coordination and love working with people and helping them grow and develop. I enjoy the diversity of being a Generalist with every hour being a different task. I am good at IR but prefer not to spend too much time on IR issues.

Pros: Opportunities and Stability
Cons: Too much travelling

Marketing for a broacast company is a once in a lifetime experience.

Working for Supersport has been the highlight of my life. Supersport has an extremely fast paced environment which demands extreme attention to detail. We prepared supersport channels for the final replay, every break that's on supersport channels has to be planned and all our marketing materials have to be briefed and produced, this include working with celebrities on frequent bases. Extreme discipline, attention to detail and time management is the culture at the supersport marketing department, with a special lot of individuals that makes a place what it is. The challenge at working for supersport is fast paced enviroment that demands extreme attention to details

Pros: Opportunity to showcase my marketing skills.
Cons: I prefer spending the weekends at home
