Company i work for is very professional. Everyday is a busy day. Co-workers are friendly, team players and more like family. Learnt that patience goes a long way and criticism should be taken as a learning curve.

Cons: No space for growth. Department is overly neglected.

Everyday is a new challenge which i consider a huge learning experience.

I have been employed at Sun City for a period of 20 years 14 of these years was in HR. I started my HR careen in the administrative department and moved my way up to HR Business Partner. i have a deal of experience in Recruitment And selection in Gaming, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Food and Beverage & Maintenance. I really enjoy the challenge and targets that i need to meet on a daily basis.

Pros: great opportunities for moving to other units within Sun International units.
Cons: Have been based at Sun city for 20 years now i have limited my scope of other industry experience

Excellent experience

-I was filling the receipts -I was counting the stock -I had a great experience team work with my co-workers and mostly especial with my supervisors -I had agreat time because i did like what i was experiencing. -I didnt even feel like i was a part-time worker,they treat me like i was one of them. -The most enjoyable part is when i file cause i know how to handle office files -The most challengable part is when we work over time and we didnot get enough time to rest we worked from 6:00am until 22:00pm and we just got about 30 to 45minutes for lunch. -According to the average of a job the challenges was less and i was doing well after all.

It was an excellent learning curve

I have learn to be very patient with clients as they can get too demand it is my responsibility as a waitress to never keep a customer waiting and not attending to him/her. I have to please their needs to the best of my ability and if i find something that is above my capabilities I would call my manager for assists where needed.

I enjoy video games, movies and just to travel especially here in south africa .i am a people's person i interact well with others and also enjoy a good laugh.

My working experience

As I was working at on the move I have learned how to deal with different kind of people and to deal with them. My relationship with my ex co-workers was very good cause they one who helped me work when I was new they very loving and patient

Educated

I work for 8 hrs or more depending on how busy it is, we communicate most of the time with challenges now and then from other departments. Other departments cannot operate we fail as we had to make sure that all rooms are clean and sold we also have to report maintenance all the time

Casino Tables open on time for business

My responsibilities are 1.Make sure casino is open on time 2. Make sure of staff's time keeping, attendance, development is adhered to. 3.saving the cost 5.Reporting any unusual behavior to the gaming regulator 6.Responsible for staff monthly roster..

Pros: To move to a different environment will re-energise me.

Exellent environment to work

sun city is a big company where is easy to learn they take care of their employees because we have training center in the resort, you can even apply to work for different department in sight the resort.

Pros: great Opportunity for experience
Cons: 8-5 monday to friday
