Great experience overall. Exposure to all aspects of the manufacturing business.

Things are very interesting in SRSA right now. Since the Japanese giant Sumitomo took over, the factory has undergone a major transformation. I have been in the think of things being a member on the Product Development Team. The product range has doubled in the past 3 years, with that came a lot of challenges and a lot of great victories. I got to understand the importance of proper planning. The best part is always received a technical instruction confirming that a certain project has been approved by QA to go into production. The people are great, friendly and easy to work with. I am particulary not impressed with management in terms of talent recognition and and having the right person to do the right job. It gets frustrating when you have passengers in drivers seats, which has been a case a few times in my experience there and this makes the job almost impossible and its very draining when people pass the ball instead of working to improve things they just shift responsibility.

Pros: There is scope for growth.
Cons: Too much politics

Your relationship with co-workers I affectively build relationship's with all facets of the business and relate well from Junior to the most senior staff. Your relationship with co-workers I am certainly a relationship builder and this forms past of the culture I create What you have learnt Besides the technical aspects of my career , I have specialized in building and fostering relationships with my peers What you enjoy most Making a difference and enhancing business The most challenging aspects of the job Working with narrow minded people
