I went to the company with a little experience but now I've learnt a lot

Working where I work it strated so nice I enjoyed it,we started the service desk from nothing to where it is now,we were only 4 of us and we understood each other,more and more people were hired and the environment started to change. we've never been recognized by the company on any company updates,atleast a single "well done for the hard work" I trust it could make a huge difference with regards to out enthusiasm for working there. Again from my side it is not very thoughtful for us the service desk department,shift roadsters changes frequently even if you've planned your appointments, we only get to be informed that it has been changed without any agreemen or meeting,the off days are not enough to a point whereby it negatively affects even family and social life.

Pros: There are opportunities to study further
Cons: Working during weekends and public holidays but no satisfaction in terms of compensation

Excellent customer skills and SLA driven

-Excellent customer liaison -Well groomed -I have worked on multiple project with a huge client base. -KPI and SLA driven -Goal orientated -Loved by fellow colleges -Top achiever for the company over the past 3 years.

Good Learning curve

I have started working for Stortech as an intern for a year. I first worked as a Technical assistance in FAULT MANAGEMENT where my role was to perform and ensure that i manage and monitor network for Vodacom. I also worked as Named user admin where i was responsible for facilitating or executing the granting and revoking of access to systems and for defining the controls of the function specific to the telecoms sector. I have learned more about IT and telecommunication within the Company. I work very well with my co-workers, Most of them are very disciplined and flexible. A typical day would be making sure that i performed all task constructively and worked night shifts and standbys. The challenging aspects of my job would be when the system is down and that would lead to perfoming the tasks manually which is very time consuming.

Cons: Salary not satisfying

Excellent learning curve

• Basic troubleshooting of IT related problems. • Basic network knowledge and experience. • Set-up 3G. • Unlock Bit Locker Recovery. • Setting up new machines before deploying them, system and windows update, pulling images from LAN using SCCM. • Copying and mapping data from one drive to another. • Attending to assigned service desk related calls. • Basic IT telephonic troubleshooting and assistance to users. • Helping users remotely. • Be able to assemble and de-assemble laptops and pc. • Reset active directory accounts. • Adding computers and laptops on the domain. • Firewall connection. • Fibre installation

Pros: Great opportunities for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent learning curve

I am a self motivated individual who is keen on learning new things and willing to be part of a working team at any time, I am fun loving person and very easy to work with as I take any advice into consideration. I am also a multitasking person who is able to cope with the busy environment.i enjoy interacting with people in different aspects of the business,great organisational culture with friendly employees, i've learnt a lot about microsoft dynamics and 365 for recruitment process.the most challenging aspects are the work order is not sufficient and work overload becomes too much,and time maangement is not put into consideration you learn on the Job.

Cons: less salary

Directed me into a career that I belong

From meeting new customers to scoping a solution to listerning, to designing new documents and training material and forcasting to plan ahead are to name but a few things that I do. Being so diverse I work with engineering, PMO and support making sure that the process flow does not stop or fail. I enjoyed when there was work coming in from sales but for the most part business was slow or speciifc to product needs and I had to adjust to become more proactive.

Pros: When there was work it was great to learn from new experiences
Cons: Reactive company make it difficult

Excellent growth

Looking for a change at a new environment.I'm currently working for a fabulous company however i feel like i need a change and i have been with them for a very long time. I'm truly greatful and forever thankful for the growth
