Steeledale Reviews

A very interesting industry :)

It's an interesting company to work for, I have learnt a lot in many different departments, finance, procurement, safety, sales and operations. The Kimberley branch is small so one person fills many positions. The industry is tough, therefore one learns to chase work, follow up on new and existing clients. It is a competitive industry. We are a small team, and team being the key word. We rely on each other to get functions done. Cons I would say, very competitive pricing and difficulty in getting stock which is frustrating to us and the customers. It makes delivery great service a little more difficult. I am proud to see buildings go up knowing we supplied the steel. Every day you learn something new about construction too.

Pros: Learning new things about how buildings are built. Learning to deal with difficult clients.
Cons: Stock supply, competitive pricing.
