Great learning experience

I am a banking assistant. I assist customers with queries on phone, email and walk ins as well. I work well independently and in a team. The challenges I faced is the language barrier. As I am working in a foreign bank, some customers speak Hindi and little English. I have learnt account opening, forex(mostly outward),customer service, basic administration. I enjoy my job because I meet a lot of people everyday and learn something new all the time. I do my work with great diligence and pride.

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: No opportunities for promotions

A place to work at least

a company that doesn't give local staff benefits.onlyforeign staff are provided for and get given more then those that actually do work.no growth and older local staff get paid almost the same as new local staff

Pros: a place to work to get some form of income
Cons: no benefits for local staff..system issues often.lots of manual entire and very paper based.restrictions from sarb
