Great exposure to automotive field

Excellent learning experience. I've grown from a pure payroll person to HR Manager . I've had a lot of exposure to the CCMA, Bargaining councils and union related issues. I manage a team of 4 administrators. I ensure that deadlines are set up and met monthly. At the beginning of the month I ensure reconciliation and payment of 3rd party accounts eg medical aid, provident funds, labour brokers, consultants etc. Then we have a comm run on the 7th. From the 8th it's onboarding of staff, transfers, terminations, adjustments. I review all changes prior to review by accounts. Capturing and reconciliation of payroll GL accounts. In between I prepare and prosecute hearings, facilitate management changes and resolve staff issues.

Pros: Great exposure. Wide variety of problems to solve. Great people
Cons: Long hours, lack of proper communication, salary is regulated

Good learning curve

Da day starts of stressfull. With doing your daily chores for 12 dealerships. Printing statements for 11 dealerships. And doing inter company payments for 12 dealerships

Pros: No growth
Cons: Saturday working

Good learning experience

I have experience in all fields debtors,creditor, finance, book keeping, petty cash, payroll, deposits and feel. That all that I do goes unseen also take control of releasing of vehicle on delivery of which is a managers job I also prepare all installment schedule for payments. Help with tax returns also pass credits

Pros: Learning expericence
Cons: Have to week on weekends
