Great exposure to petrochemical HSE

As the regional SHEQ manager I am tasked with maintaining and improving the overall health and safety of the company and it's operations here in KZN. Working for a company that's a 24 hour emergency response service means there's a lot of Ad hoc safety work,safety files, risk visits,client liaison and more. Our major clients are from the petrochemical industry & have specifications of an international level that need to be met. Meeting compliance means regular audits from our major clients and certification bodies (ISO, Osha) I enjoy a good working relationship with my seniors & subordinates. Meeting clients and discussing work and solutions is most satisfying & definitely a highlight. I cover KZN extensively visiting sites My knowledge on the construction regulations has really improved since been at this company and my knowledge of aligning with the requirements of MHI, NKP & petrochemical. Not forgetting the processes involved in 24 hour Hazmat response.

Learned a lot

Learned a lot in my time with spillech. The technicians and workstaff are very knowledgable and eager to learn. Management do not consider the personal needs of their employees
