Always willing to learn

I started as Admin Clerk and in 2009 started as a SHEQ trainee. I took the Safety and Health system from 3 star to a 5 star and the environmental from 2 star to a 4 star in a period of 18 months. The following audit period the H&S went to showplace aswell as the environmental. I learn throw working with ISO 14001 and 18001. I still busy with my national diploma through Unisa and strive to finish this year. I also did different short courses.

Pros: my ambition is to became a SHE manager
Cons: do not have any time keeping problems and to work long hours.

I am a fast learner

I am passionate person, who like to work with different people and value diversity, like to make frienf with a very short of time, talkactive, friendly, do his job to the best standard I can give and I can work overtime, nightshift, standby, call out

Pros: Firstly I like my career of being an Mechanic as I said I can work shifts, night, standby, day shift and stay over if I didn't finish my work and I like to work as a team having different view and learn from them because that is helping me in the future and I'm enjoying working with different minds and I like challenges in my job so that I can learn, learn the hard way is the best for the future
Cons: As I said I can even stayover if my job is not finished I don't like leaving a job for tomorrow because tomorrow have its job to be done

Good learning experience

It is a good thing working under a mining company that service and manufacture different things such as horse trailers and pipes,and working with different types of people from all over South Africa and Africa gave me the best knowledge on how to work with others and to work as a team

Pros: great opportunity for learning
Cons: working even on weekends

Good experience at handling people

The typical work daysi cludede things like taking the workers to the site to work,hecki g their ppe,making sure their checklist are done pproperly,having a tool box meeting ,and supplying the mine shaft with loaders. Working with people taught me a lot about team work and it's so easy to get things done when people have an understanding .

Pros: Learning curve for health and safety acts at work and the overall experience of the field work
Cons: Long hours
