Specialist Neurologist Reviews

I enjoy my work tremendously. My employer is leaving the country

I organize the diary . I arrange the medico legal appointments, documentation and correspondence between the attorneys and the doctor, invoices, payments and see to the reports and joint minutes. See to parking and travelling arrangements if the court cases are far away. I arrange for advocates meetings. I arrange the clinical patients appointments, invoices and finances. I am the receptionist, telephonist and manager of this practice. I have extremely good relations with all my co-workers. (colleagues, security, cleaners, secretaries) I enjoy working with people and making the day and business going smooth for all of us The most challenging aspect of my work is when you have prepared a whole full day and then the attorneys calls the doctor out to court and all chaos breaks loose, but it is also satisfactory to let everything work out.

Pros: I learnt a lot about how the legal and medical work situations work together. An how to handle all sorts of difficult people
Cons: There are unfortunately NO promotion opportunities

I enjoy my work tremendously. My employer is leaving the country

I enjoy my work tremendously. I like to work with people to make a difference in their lives. I like to organize things in such a way that the office day goes smooth and to minimize as much stress as possible for everybody involved. I have learnt how to run a doctors practice, as I am doing everything here. I do the admin, finances, edit the reports, answer telephone, make appointments, make arrangements where needed for travelling, procedures etc. And I have learned a lot about the legal world as the practice handles medico legals mainly. My co-workers are like my family, We get along really good, but I always get along with everybody. There is not really something very challenging in my job, I handle everything as it happens to my best. The most challenging aspect of my job sometimes, is to arrange that all the documents from the attorneys are here on time and complete (as they do not bother about that as long as their clients do have an appointment with us.)

Pros: Unfortunately there is no promotional opportunities in our business. The industry is however a bonus for me as I like to work with people.
Cons: I do not mind working long hours to have the satisfaction of a job well done
