My day in the training and development

I am a very timely person, passionate with my work, I enjoy interacting with colleagues and I believe that you learn everyday from everyone around you. Typical day at work, am 60 percent out of the office, as my job requires me to network, do boardroom presentation, be in meetings with different stakeholders. The other 4o% is me in the office doing the admin and research on different companies. Cold calling and emailing. I enjoy the stories that I hear from learners on how we have changed their lives because of the learnerships or bursaries that companies have been able to sponsor to the students. The most challenging aspect of my job is that you need to meet the clients needs no matter how hard you try, its about meeting their needs,if there is no need there will be no sale. Getting companies to understand training and development and how valuable it is, internally or externally.

Pros: There are great opportunities to spread your wings.
Cons: There are days you need to work over hours

Good learning experience

Sparrow Fet college is a great place to learn, there is growth with in the company, on a typical day i arrange meetings for my supervisor, i update his cms, call companies to find out how students are doing, update student employment stats, send emails, answer phone calls and redirect, set up meetings,take minutes and help with company sourcing. i work well with my colleagues and we have a healthy professional relationship, the most challenging aspect of my job at moment is having to companies for the different skills that we offer.

By doing data capturing and fixing Computers

My work is to ensure that all computers of the company are working well , my relationship with my co-workers is perfectly good in a understandable working relationship with respect for each-other , i have learned that nobody is perfect and i have learned more in how to do data capturing and fillling , i enjoy doing data capturing , the challenging part is when you get files at a later stage and when the timing of finishing the work is short

Pros: Is when i worked hard and provided the incredible results of my hardwork
Cons: By not minding to work extra long hours

Good

Very good and learnt a lot about kidsvwith different back grounds, im proud of the team I have, we are like a close family away from home. At times its hard when you donf know who's on your side or not. I sometimes feel like giving up but my kids are the most precious gift I have so I don't everything for them as I work at sparrow
