Excellent company to gain experience
This company is not fair because employees work long hours and get paid peanuts .this company does not care the duration of an employee in its company .They hardly pay bonus to its employees yet they make millions of rands ,its employees are not happy and they have no choice since they need money to earn a living . This company is not taking good of its employees and they dont promote employtees even if they work hard and they can see that they desreve a promotion but they dont. They dont appreciate the work done by its employees and they dont realise that without employees they wont function , they dont realise that they need them as much as the employees need them . As a company you should treat your employees right because if employees are not happy they wont b productive.
Pros: it helps you to buy basic things you need as an employee

Excellent
Working at spar it was fun and challenging, dealing with different customers everyday it's complicated, my co-workers are supportive even sometimes are difficult but l have always be calm and co-operate with them. I have learn that customers are always right, customer care, how today with the difficult customer, how to solve a conflict. I 've enjoy to be introduced to a new tasks, most challenging is dealing with the difficult customer.

Excellent
Working at spar it was fun and challenging, dealing with different customers everyday it's complicated, my co-workers are supportive even sometimes are difficult but l have always be calm and co-operate with them. I have learn that customers are always right, customer care, how today with the difficult customer, how to solve a conflict. This was a great opportunity to hone my skills in customer care and service
I then changed my job working full time at Super Spar Rustenburg as a cleaner and general assistant for 3 (three) years and 8 (eight) months before being promoted as a cashier. My Supervisor said he saw potential in me. I then went I got on working at Mafikeng Spar, I started off as pricing analyst working on the floor because they wanted to see my commitment to the company, t last I was promoted as a cashier where I had a dual job of being a cashier and help design signs and posters for pricing as well as promotions with the aide middle management. It is basically going through Spar South Africa Internal website looking for price changes and specials. . That’s where I learned my Computer literacy (word and excel) Planning is most crucial because it has to coincide with stock available, time of the month and most crucially staff available eg: who is on leave.
Pros: work under pressure and meeting deadlines.

Great opportunity to understand the working environment
I'm enjoying working with customers and being able to review myself and my capabilities in a working environment. Working at the till can be challenging as you are required to be accurate & offer a quick service at the same time. Avoid mistakes & till shortages. It does get easier with time & practice. Working with my colleagues is amazing as we all work as a team to achieving success in pleasing and making our customers happy.

The politics at the company stink
Information does not filter to the rest of the store as there is a bottleneck subjecting information flow to over and above normal scrutiny. There is no follow up on promotions as in the turnaround time is almost near impossible to meet.
Pros: Its fine if you enjoy being the elephant in the room

Endurance of life
Everyday is a good day and we all make our self happy at the end of the day because our customers must always get smiley face from us at al time.I work wrrith and funny people but days can't alway be perfect for each. It was good to work as a stock tacker but the problem was money was small
I had to wake up in the morning so that I can arrive at work early before the stuff member arrive and count stock.the company didn't pay us well they said SARS deducted our money from our salary
