Experience

SPAR north Rand was an excellant company to work for but had no chance of growth due to the hiring of purchasing managers from out of the DC and effectively halting any chance of advancement.

A career growth opportunity

It is excellent way in which to be equipped with the knowledge of the functions and processes of procurement. It also offers the opportunity to communicate with retail level agents and familiarise yourself with the pricing models utilised across the Industry and how this affects sales and gross profits at retail level. Also helps enhance negotiation skills for purposes of procuring quality products in large quantities at reasonable prices to ensure retailer e.aims competitive in their market.

Excellent learning curve

It's is boring there I'm just doing one thing everyday and it's not challenging enough for me .people working there are less motivated and lack confidence and courage. They don't like changes they still doing thing using old ways

Excellent learning curve

Rotate through warehouse departments doing the red file( understand what each department entails), identify improvement areas in those department, present improvement to the direct and project manager whatever was approved by the director. handle kronos queries and work on the payroll during month end

Pros: great oppoertunity for interns/ learners to gain experience
Cons: minimal number of people with education

EXCELLENT COMPANY

LEADING AND MOTIVATING A TEAM EXECUTE THE OBJECTIVES BY CONTROLING THE ABSENTEEISM OVERTIME AND LEAVE DAYS OF THE TEAM I AM WORKING UNDER ME.RESOLVIG THE CUSTOMER QUERIES,MONITORING THE WORK AND MEASURING THE PERFORMANCES OF THE WORK PLACE AND THE ATTEND EXPORT MEETING.

Excellent learning

Spar is a good company to work with I've grown in this company looking after the accounts Payable department at North Rand the staff head count was 25 with a mixture of different personalities the sacrifices has made me who k am to today by leading a dynamic team
