High pressure FMCG environment

The company is growing quite rapidly and competes in the very competitive edible oil market. Every work day has some operational challenges and it is very seldom possible to plan long term. The management structure of the company is very flat and managers are expected to be hands-on operationally as well as strong managers. This causes a lot of managers to fail in their positions and unfortunately leads to a high turn-around in staff. With a back ground in packaging manufacturing I found the FMCG environment as much more high pressure and competitive. This has been a steep learning curve but challenging and very rewarding when successful. The biggest challenges, but also rewarding, is working in a constantly changing environment in a growing business that requires one to constantly adapt business processes and develop people and skills to meet new demands.

The animal feed industry is supplied with our high protein Canola Oil Cake, ensuring that nothing goes to waste in the largest canola crushing operation on the African continent.
