SoluGrowth Reviews

Excellent learning experience

Working at SoluGrowth is a good experience but I was more exposed to my experience provider which is the University of Pretoria. The relationship with employees is good, they practice labour legislation in terms of ethics. I learned the reality of being in finance industry, the pressure of it and how to survive and grow.

Pros: Opportunities for growth
Cons: No guarantees for permanent for interns

The time frame given to complete task is sometimes ridiculus. Manuel processes take much longer to achieve.

Pros: Global experience
Cons: long working hours, unreachable targets due to volumes and time constraints

Excellent learning curve

It is it us it is a good company which operates as a consulting firm. We are actually based at client site so most of the thing are honestly fine, the reason I am looking for a new job is because the client is moving the department I was working on so we are being retrenched as they cannot place us on there projectst not they are retrenching

Pros: I was promoted for foreign accounts payable
Cons: We working 40 hours per week and if it is more then we don't get overtime because our CRO don't believe in it

Excellent learning curve for a start up

As a start up the hours were long, but got a lot of good exposure on starting up a business. however, with time i grew away from my technical competencies which i thrive and love doing. I grew tied of doing non technical work which is what i want to do.

Pros: Great opportunity for my growth and fast tracking my career
Cons: unstructured, and little benefits

I have a bubbly personality and love working with people

My typical day at work consists of negotiating and talking to customers on the phone and through e-mail. I am a bubbly person by nature and get on with my co-workers well as I treat people as I would want to be treated. I have learnt about most of the people in the company as I prepared their CV’s on a formatted word documentation, so all the employee’s have the same format. I enjoy most is the work I am currently doing, working with customers and our client on the phone The most challenging aspects of my job is to get the landlords to sign renewal contracts between themselves and our client

Pros: I enjoyed working at this Company, as I had a lot of exposure of different positions
Cons: Being retrenched end of April, due to contract not being renewed
