Sober Chauffeur Reviews

Nice company, great opportunities to drive different vehicles

It is a part-time, mainly evening and weekends. The purpose is to get clients home safely after they have had a drink or two at a function. I drive the clients vehicle, and my co-driver drives sweeps behind to pick me up at destination. I enjoyed driving the different vehicles most. Any weekend I could drive Mercedes, BMW, Hyundai, Landrover, or some VW. Most challenging aspect is finding the pickup point and often getting to the next pickup on time. Another challenge, and possibly the biggest is actually making money out of the business. Each week, the payment amount looks great, until you remember petrol, service, etc. of your vehicle. Relationship with co-workers have been difficult. Mainly stems from first night on duty, and communications at midnight. But we getting better.

Pros: Drive many fancy cars
Cons: mainly work weekends and at night

Excellent learning curve

While working in this industry i have learned to start to build my confidence and develop as a person. Working with people has had a great effect on my interpersonal skills and i have been given lots of more challenging tasks.

Pros: Great development
Cons: Not much room for growth
