Providing assurance services to a wide range of clients within and outs of RSA. Keen interest in IT audit, Internal Audit including Data Analysis and also performs Financial audits. I am a SAP Security Specialist within the division where everyone liaises in respect of security and process review audits for various clients. Enjoy working with people and enjoying providing value to my clients. I would like to be seen as the trusted business advisor to my clients (be it internal or external) rather than been seen as an auditor. Meeting unrealistic deadlines are the most challenging aspects of the job which also provides me the adrenaline or the drive to always try to innovate in order to meet the deadlines. End result is one is constantly learning new trick and tips of the trade.

Explore opportunities outside of the external audit environment

Being in external audit, a typical work day is to engage with external and internal stakeholders (clients) to understand their requirements in order to map deliverables. Then a team of auditors with the requisite skills and experience needs to be assembled and briefed of the milestone of the pending assignment. I have learnt that I have excellent communication, negotiating and technical skills to be able to either manage at high level or actually execute the assignment. I enjoy encountering varied challenges and the most challenging aspect of my current job is to provide multiple deliverables to different clients at the same time while trying to maintain a health social work life balance.

Excellent opportunity for career growth

A typical work day is to manage and execute internal audit and IT audit assignments for clients across various industries. Managing a team of professional auditors to ensure that audits are performed within the agreed expectations. Maintaining external and internal stakeholders' relationships. I am a ERP specialist and enjoy SAP security assignments. Have performed various data analytics from teaching myself. Challenges on this job includes servicing multiple clients and meeting tight deadlines.
