PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

- Wake up at 4:00am, shower, get ready and drive to Midrand from Sasolburg. - Typical workday is very busy and stressful, as I am the only one in the Proposals dept doing E&I EPC tenders. - I have a very good relationship with my co-workers as I like to share my knowledge with regards to the Oil & Gas Industry with them. - I have learnt through the years that Estimating can be a very stressful environment to be in, if you are not committed to meet deadlines. (To be pro-active at all times) - To land tenders with a good profit margin. - The most challenging aspect of the job is to intemperate the jobs at hand correctly, and to focus on at least 4-5 tenders at the same time.

Pros: SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Cons: Living far from Midrand, as my department was moved from Vanderbijlpark office to Midrand withput prior consultation and notification. Also my fuelcard was retracted without consultation.

Good learning curve

It's a great company to get to learn practical concepts. It is very good for entry level. A typical day consists of 8 normal working hours and working on project designs, red lining project documentation and planning. The co-workers at the company are really great and friendly people, very professional and collaborative when it comes to working together. I have learnt most of the things I know about basic and detail engineering design at the company. Which concists of many aspects. I enjoyed the warm and friendly environment, the companys strict attention when it comes to safety and how the company makes sure the projects and work are delivered on time.

Cons: Routine work which is not challenging

As it is construction we are exposed to a deferent type of systems.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, I provide technical leadership to the construction team. Work hand in hand with the client, sending technical queries and redlining drawings.

Ecxellent learning

The company that am currently work for its a construction industry with a lot of people and different employees each and every year. I am working very well with as I am a team player I put heart into every thing I do, I manage my work , time ,good manner all the time and sometimes I work under pressure if its possible and enjoying as a team as well and enjoying that a lot. The only challenge its if its a shutdown obviously there we recruiting many people but I can handle my job as I learned well to do.

Pros: The is many things that can make a employee to get a promotion that depends on your perfomance that makes you to be promoted.
Cons: I do not have a proble to work extra hours as long i still have work to do for day i will it with a manner.
