The experience in the bussness, culture and the values of the company
First of all i can say working for Smollan gave me the experience that i never thought i'll gain, living by values treating all employees equally with dignity and respect. From all the stores that i worked in i've always had a good relationship with my co-workers. I enjoy leading people because they listen and perfome thats how we reach the target with team work. The challenging aspect of my job is the competitors.

Good company with good benefits and growth opportunities
I have been with the group for 14 years, I left for a year and back as a fieldmanager which is my current position. The area I cover is the Northern Natal however I have worked throughout KZN and I have experienced FMCG at every level. I have worked my way through from merchandiser through to regional manager within Smollan. I have confectionery experience as I was with the Mondelez business units before leaving and now on my return I am with Premier/ Danone. I have perishable experience and I have with in the telecoms part of the business with CellC as well.
Pros: Great opportunity for growth and good benefits
Cons: Too long working hours and not enough family time

Excellent learning curve
iam a lady who is currently employed by smollan sales and marketing im willing to work under pressure and im a self motivated person, goal driven and a target driven being who is ready to work as an individual and also in a team, i have a good personal communication skills, who also im able to learn new things,

I'm a self driven person who is able to work under pressure and results orientated.
I am focused person. I am able to work in a multi cultural environment. I was a staff representative and able to interact with all the staff members in my team. I am able to communicate verbally and in writing.

Excellent learning curve
Working at Smollan is a highly active and challenging working environment with lots of growth potential both personally and professionally. The business is highly competitive and self discipline and management is a core business requirement, you engage with different customers and clients daily and work with a highly motivated sales team that strives for excellence day in and out. My experience with my co-workers have been exceptional as they offer a good support structure and working environment, they form a bond of unity and you can always find someone to listen to your views and opinions.

Good sales experience gained
I no longer work for the company, but my experience at Smollan is an unforgettable one with lots and lots of experience gained from everyone that I have worked with, during my time there. I worked with an energetic team, where being a team player was very crucial. We had team building activities every now and then, which I found very helpful and encouraging. I don't regret working for Smollan and its beautiful people, but it was time to move on and look for new challenges and take the skills I have acquired from Smollan, to the world.

Work experience
At sometimes I find that I'm doing one thing time and again where by I don't learn much but through, the versatility in me I make sure everyday it's a new day with blessing, so I build good relationship with customers through the attention I give to them nor approach, because I'll consider myself as ever smiling, though some day it might not be a good day for me but it will just be for that moment and focus on the better, I've learnt that working with people you become somebody from nobody to an extent that you become something from nothing, I really enjoy working with people to get to know more as I'm the seeker of knowledge to create the best of the best, through consistency and discipline, I fought battles that broke me but outcomes of them made me to stand my own grown e.g when I'm given a task to do, I don't ask myself a lot of rhetorical questions, I plan to do it right and I've learnt that failure never defeated anyone but teaching them.
Pros: I can make the best out of nothing and become second from none through planning

Hard worker
We work in team I find it very good . My working relationships with other employees makes our work very easy.I have learnt not to miss a deadline what's more challenging at work is not having a good relationship with the employer
Pros: opportunities are not looking any good
