Excellent learning curve
It is a company that you can learn alot from and can grow if you in that field that it focuses on. The people are very good to work with and are very supportive at work and in other personal aspects. I have learnt alot of parts that go inside a vehicle and how they actually participate in the functionality of the whole motor vehicle. I enjoyed working in my company and have no issues or problems that affected my performance. I also have not caused any problems that affected my employment at my company.
Pros: knowledge of what goes on in the vehicles we use everyday

Life at SMITHS MANUFACTURING
Employees are United ,they all treat each other like family as a result you can not feel more work pressure.Most of the time competition when working result in good perfomence ,so the another thing i learned when i was working for the company. I have learnt a lot more of car parts and their functions in a vehicle. Workplace culture,learn teamwork,management are supportive,safety first is key as you step in company gate,dojo training,Doctor and nurses at clinic each plant The most challenging part at Smiths Manufacturing is to meet target, but u always get used to it as we growing each and everyday and getting different jobs everyday. I learned that accounting is all about proving what you say it happened. Effective management is a united management There were different cultures and nobody was critizing other culture. The job is always have deadlines It teaches you to be accountable, responsible, integrity, Business acumen
Pros: I learned that accounting is all about proving what you say it happened.
Cons: we working in different shifts but we normal work in a hand to hand shift which is a 6 to 6

I am working for Smiths Manufacturing , It is manufacturing company which Manufacture automotive component , I team woker ,I enjoy to work with people . I have learnt lot such as team work , innovating , To make good disision when you innovate together .I is challenging because it manufacturing company which using specs to produce quality in all time .
Pros: There is great oppotunity to get promotion , They develop worker by sending them to Unirversity, Technikon , and colleges .
Cons: THEY IS ALWAYS LONG WORKING HOURS TO SATISFY CUSTOMER

Providing competent and effective mechanical, electrical & building services required in the maintaining of all plant and facilities. Ensure cost efficiency of every operation by actively managing daily costs, overtime, wastage, and efficiency. Work closely with quality department in assessing the implementation of the quality plan and quality control plans on the site. Providing a competent and effective plant engineering and preventive maintenance service to the Fluid Exchange, D-Tech & Heat Exchange divisions. Evaluate all production activities and prepare reports for all activities and inspect all associate plant machines and equipment.

The company gave me a chance to gain experience.
The company offers opportunity to young people to gain experience and further their studies. It offers no growth opportunities to those looking to expand or build their careers. There is no succession planning of any sort done by the company. Compensation is not fair and salary increments are nor fairly given to people according to performance. No appreciation is shown for going the extra mile in one's position.

Cons: No growth oppotunities, poor compensation
