Good opportunity

Mostly I enjoy my work because I love what I do. Sometimes we work as teams like when assisting with some drawings and material control and that is helping me a lot because I am learning also, I do find it challenging sometimes because its a new thing to but I am learning and that encourage me to learn more.I enjoy working with my team because I gain more Experience.

I have a great safety record and worked in different sectors and well experienced.

My workmates never saw someone. Who wanted to control but were seeing someone who really cared about them a d their safety. Some will come with their own personal issues and felt they will be handled better with confidence.

Pros: Learned a lot in term of risk assessment techniques and formats especially from recent project at Exxaro
Cons: Disadvantages are the people who not a salary going forward.

I am young,ambitious and always willing to learn from others, like to take advise from other workers

Its always a pleasure to work for SMEI Projects, My relationship with my co worker are very good, like to inter act with them on ground level, inspire them to be open when it comes to safety, I've learned that you have to respect other people no matter what position he/she have, Most challenging task is to ensure that we as a company adhere and comply to procedures from the client

I drove truck to deliver material in various

Deliver the material in various area around the mine premises. I got code 14 drivers licence with prdp dangerous goods and defensive driving training as well as Forklift certificate and licence. I am driving forklift for eight years for defference companies. I got confirmition letter from one of the companies i worked for. Kind regards. Mr.Xolani Sikiti

Maintain data books Do inspections on steel structures Inspections on conveyor gantries Write method statments Draw up QCP,s Do admin work Take reading with theodolight and dumpy level

Pros: Great company to work for many option to be permenently appointedas long as they got contracts.
Cons: Loosinng ou on bonusses if not permant appointed

I’m no longer working with the company..

The company was not treating its employees ok. They could sometimes steal employees hours of work and never pay them back including bonuses.. but after all it was a great experience and lesson

Excellent learning experience

I work in a construction company as a site clerk at the mine site. I have a good working relationship with all my co-workers and the management too. I have learnt a lot with regards to safety and health.

Excellent learning curve

A typical workday consist of... Ensuring all relevant and necessary daily documents, inspections and registers are done and submitted before work commence. Regular site visits to ensure workers safety. I believe that my relationship with my co workers is based on mutual respect. What I've learnt-- Never to complain about someones wrong doing, but rather coach them to use the correct method. I enjoy it very much if a team can work together as a team. To meet deadlines are one important but challenging aspect.
