GIVEN A NON PROFITABLE FRONT SHOP THAT I HAVE TO MAKE SALES OUT OF MY SWEAT. SELLING ACCESSORIES TO WALK IN CUSTOMERS. I AM IN GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MOST OF CO-WORKERS. I HAVE LEARNT THAT HARD WORK PAYS AND I ENJOY BEING A HARD-WORKER WHO TRY BY ALL MEANS TO REACH TARGETS EVERY MONTH. MY COMPANY WON A NATIONAL CERTIFICATE AS A LEADER AMONG OVER 500 OTHER TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES. THIS SHOWS HOW DRIVEN AND DEDICATED WE ARE IN GIVING OUR CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY ARE WORTH.

Great opportunity at first

Company have decreased in size from being a huge business to a much smaller company. Wide variety of service such as CBU has now also decreased to Ebu only and more than 3 quarter of the staff was given retrenchment package or settlement agreement.

Pros: It looked great

Excellent work ethic

I got to work with all types of people such as IT guys, people from billing department and had monthly meetings with the company ceo as there where some accounts that needed me to update him on. Externally I got to work with other company CEO’s and even lawyers on a one one basis and that’s something I enjoyed doing, being out of my daily comfort zone

Pros: Opportunity for a promotion
Cons: The workload was hectic

Smartcom is a business that opened its doors in 2001 and is operated in an entrepreneurial manner. The people are very family orientated and passionate about what they do. Balance is key for staff up to senior management.

Great place to start and grow

As a project supervior I plan my daily routine for my team Keep track of cellphone orders being activated and also captured Capture excel spreadsheet for invoices Run invoices for Cellphone and Simcard orders Deal with customers and business cellphone insurance accounts Receiving and sending RAM packages Finding solutions and plans to reach targets Switching of company merchandise between department submissions
