Our division is always busy but we always meet deadlines. We are a definition of team work as we always work together and try to make every day fun while meeting targets. I have learned a lot about commercial property management and it challenges including dealing with municipalities.

Pros: The industry is a specialist area as you learn a lot about the industry
Cons: Dealing with debtors that do not want to pay while creditors require their payments on time.

Good experience and I obtained great training and a qualification.

Wonderful work life. I have learnt how to get along with people and I have attended lots of trainings that have equipped with the necessary skills that I will need in order to excel in my work life. I enjoy achieving the set targets and goals. The most challenging aspects are understanding new difficulties in my work, tackling them and achieving a positive outcome.

Pros: Bonus and internal growth opportunities.
Cons: Probation period.

Support the mandate and wish it was not so poorly executed

The reward is knowing that you are contributing in the Nation's economy - job creation - this I surely appreciated as I am an Entrepreneur at heart. The challenge is that there is no room for growth and there is no direction at the Executive Level.

Learning ground and wealth of experience

Since joining sefa, I have learnt so much as far as Development finance is concerned. I am grateful for the opportunity sefa afforded me to pay for my studies in the Post Graduate Diploma in Development Finance at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Good work and personal life balance

Great environment, allows for work and personal life balance, allows the employee to make a difference in South African's lives, reasonable salary. Lack of leadership, undefined culture, no succession planning, lack of career development.

SKILLS

Communication skills (verbal and written), listening, service oriented, attention to details, reconciling skills, initiative, analytical thinking, computer literacy, administration and filing, sense of urgency, knowledge of applicable policies, good customer handling skills, inter-personal telephone skills, time management and patient with people. Although i have limited exposure to some of the duties for this position i am applying for, i believe that my Accounting knowledge will assist me to learn fast and adjust to change. I also have relevant academic qualification for the position which is a National Diploma in Accounting and a B - Tech in Taxation. I am currently enrolled with Unisa studying Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences.
