Extensive Learning Curve
Moving from Merchandising to a Key Account Management position for Converse was a huge step, and an incredible learning curve. My daily work duties are detailed in my CV, and I get on quite well with my co-workers and juniors. I enjoy interaction with my Customers at all levels, and have grown the brand despite all the financial setbacks during the past financial year with Nene-Gate etc. Unfortunately the different departments within Skye Distribution is not synchronized, putting huge pressure on relationships with Customers due to orders not being fulfilled on time and to order. I enjoyed the creative side and challenge of designing a range of handbags whilst employed at Busby House, and also loved being involved in the costume jewellery industry, more so than the sneaker industry.
Pros: Regular travel to Cape Town as all my customers have their Head Office in the Mother City.
Cons: Long, stressfull working hours, virtually no support from management, staff reduced and customers increased.

Excellent learning curve.
Given exposure to all aspects of the business, from the warehouse, shipping, stock management. Small team, with lots of knowledge. International brand, with a huge customer base.

Huge learning potential
Exposure to all aspects of the business, from shipping, warehouse, retail. Working with a strong team of people. New systems coming on board. New retail stores, giving one exposure to retail management. Team of people who is will to teach and help were needed.

Have good experience in processing customers orders.
I have the right experience in checking orders using invoice,make corrections where possible, also do adjustment by require short staff if identified and make it to balance according to requirement of an invoice. This work environment is challenging every day because it needs a detailed attention because we are dealing with different customers. The relationship is good because we work as a team to achieve one goal of finishing the orders and bring them to dispatch department. I enjoyed mostly to take the leadership role when processing the order,by counting the stock,check if is correct,take the labels with the right order number and give it to the people so that they can put it to the products. The most challenging aspect is to make sure that you match the right labels to the right customer order number and to the right stock that is complete after counting the stock.
Pros: The next level is to be promoted to be a a team leader
Cons: When required by the company we do work over time.

Good learning curve
At my time at Skye Distribution it gave me the opportunity to learn about the Wholesale side of the retail industry as well as the challenges involved working for an international brand.

Good Company
A typical work day would be chasing PRs for authorisation of invoices. Its very relaxed & we are on our converse gear to market our brands. We have an open door policy & environment is very relaxed & vibey. Limitations with going to the warehouse. I have learnt so much in dealing with internal staff of all ages & different backgrounds.

Excellent opportuniny to gain exposure
Skye Distribution is a very busy company, it is big and need a person who is accurate in doing everything. I enjoyed my days at this company because it has challenged me to an extent that I have realized that everything done proper in time is very important.

Excellent learning curve
Three month Telesales contract at a Company that was introducing call center department and company was not prepared for us and nothing was put in action. not a well structured organization overall Great co-workers who were always welling to help. Learned a lot about Buying/selling and SharePoint presentation. Enjoyed working with different fashion brands what was challenging was the limited client tell list provided to staff.
Pros: Great place to grow and relaxed environment
Cons: Lacked business structure.
