Excellent for career building more so for a black professional

Typically, we are stationed at the client premises. On audit engagements we have a maximum of 3 months to audit financial statements, wherein which we work intensely mostly long hours wherein which we follow a set audit methodology. Professional enviroment Great relationship with co-workers we are family

Excellent learning curve

I have good working relationship with my team members. We work with many people from different backgrounds and what I have learnt most is to understand people with different backgrounds. Meeting a lot of people and working on different types of accounting systems and different projects was the best experience. I have extensive knowledge of both private and public entitles. In finance , you need to keep studying in order to be updated with the latest standards to reduce the risk of error in treatment of accounting transactions.

Pros: great learning curve, good accounting skills,
Cons: long working hours, team members not cooperating
