Excellent learning curve

My job requires a lot of discipline, team work and leadership skills. Being a woman Safety Officer and running a construction site is the most challenging, but exciting job at the same time because you get to work with a variety of people at different educational levels, sometimes with different cultural beliefs and you are obliged to always stoop to their level of understanding whilst enforcing the rules and regulations of the Act without compromising. I believe that your workplace is where you spend most of your time hence getting along with Co worker is vital because it creates a pleasant working environment and also stimulates productivity. I always enjoy seeing a finished product. It gives me self satisfaction when I look at a project that I have been involved in all its stages of development being handed over to the client, I call it a moment of victory.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn more about the Engineering industry
Cons: No space for settling down, job requires moving round to different sites a lot.

I learnt to make a good team with other workers,i also learnt to love my job as i love myself.

TtThe most challenging part is when i drive at night while there are people striking trowing petrol bombs on trucks but having God inside me made me strong and have faith in everthing

Pros: Working on this company made me feel more old than i think because of loving what i do most and taking care of what is paying me..i enjoy everytime i am spending on my job because i was thought well on my growing up at home..and as i love God things keep going good because the love of my God

Good first contact with construction industry

Family orientated business. There is very little organisational structure but it's worked for the managing member. Definitely room for improvement when it comes to building and growing employees. I enjoy the flexible hours when deadlines aren't looming.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn more as there isn't a person employed for every job tittle.
Cons: No opportunity to grow outside of the business e.g training

Good learning

I am a good and fast learner with problem solving and time management skills. I like working as a team and good in communication. I promise to bring the change if you can give me chance to prove myself on your company. Hardworking is what i believe and it brings good results of work. I enjoy working in groups because you can learner more from the others adding on what u know. My challenge at work its when my employers gives us more job bt less time to finish because its put more pressure to me and i can endup doing mistakes and i dont like unfinished jobs.

Pros: Promotion is what i look out for because of my good job
Cons: I can work long hours
