Excellent customers service

I learned to work with people of different cultures, learned to gain customers loyalty as well as providing a good customer service. The challenges I faced as a dealer was when punters swearing at me and not being able to chat back because of the company rules.

Pros: * The easiest job you'll ever have, for the pay rate. * You can meet many interesting people both staff, punters, celebs, etc. * No one in hospo parties as hard as casino workers. * The job is genuinely fun. If you're outgoing and social, it's great fun. If you're shy, it helps people come out of their shell. * A licensed dealer in Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat has a job qualification they can take anywhere in the world to find work.
Cons: * Once in a while you have to deal with the swearing from punters. The higher up the hierarchy you go, the more attitute you have to deal with. It's the same in any other job, but in casinos the matters you have to deal with is so obviously nothing but nonsense. So that can be a little frustrating for some. * Some dealers can take things a little to personally. Punter might lose money and start swearing at you. If you're female you might get called a fucking bitch. Don't take it personally. Just pass it on to your supervisor and smile as they get kicked out. If your female you will get propositioned and/or flirted with by male punters. Gamblers are a different kind of person. They don't know what they look like in the mirror, ie they don't see themselves like you will see them. * You can get burnout. Some dealers fall in a pattern of work, sleep, sleep in more, get up and go to work again. Especially nightshift workers.

Great working environment

Working as a waiter in this company had taught me a lot about different kind of customers and their expectations from the service we offered. Team work got me well groomed within the industry of hospitality, whereby i have learned to handle both difficult and aggressive customers. I have matured enough in problems solving, working under pressure and time management. The most challenging moment i have encountered was to sell a dish i've never seen nor tasted due to my off days but through my co workers help i managed to do well in describing the taste and fillings of the meal. I did archive my selling target.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Abnormal working hours
