Excellent learning curve

I started to work for SAB in 2006 as an Account Manager climbed ranks then exited as a Team leader, Joined Unilever as Key Accounts Distributor Executive in 2013.I was awarded an opportunity in Shell Downstream Marketing Convenience Retail to exhibit my talent as a Regional Operations Excellence Manager, which is where I am currently developing and sharpening my skills further. I serve in various structures in the community as well as at church Living my values and being humble has carried me to where I am today. In all I do I put God first, I always pray for my spiritual growth and career advancement. I am zealous, trustworthy, respectful, and reasonable. I work hard as much as I play; I am a straightforward, positive and fair person with a friendly disposition and a good sense of humour. I have high moral standards, which are well balanced, controlled and I do not compromise them.

International exposure, great learning, high pressure, good in empowernment

Multinational corporate organisation, dealing with political balances daily and high maintenance of relationships between employees an line managers and resolving conflict between line managers. Great growth in stakeholder management and building and maintaining relationships. I enjoyed company's care towards safety and employee wellbeing at work. Awesome company results and performance year on year as per set targets.

Great introduction into the world of procurement

My experience at Shell has been one of great learning an opportunities and interaction with various classes of business and Top Management.My typical day would include following up on PO aprovals, raising PRs on GSAP, assiting with payment queries and advising on other queries that people usually come to me about. I have built incredible relationships with colleagues.I enjoy the culture the most and find the lack of accountability and slowness of some decisions a bit challenging.
