Educating myself in the markets. I finally know this is where I thrive.

My typical day at work is I wake up at 4 am. I like to see how New York closed also see how Asia is doing. I do research to see where the JSE might go and what is happening in the world. I don't have co - workers as I work for myself although I have very successful people in the markets who work for the biggest firms in Africa who advise me and educate me. I have learnt how to handle my emotion when I trade. I personally think handling your emotions is the biggest key to becoming a successful trader. I love to educate myself on the markets and see what makes a company share price and currency markets move and big news what my safe havens are. Also the small things like for example the LDT on markets when dividend is paying out and how oil and the currency affects the markets.

Great opportunity to improve my leadership and business management skills matrix.

On a typical day, I get to negotiate with suppliers, manage customer expectations and apply my leadership skills. My business administration skills have improved quiet significantly, through book keeping and merchandising. I do stock count and control our inventory.

Pros: Keeps my mind busy; I get hands on entrepreneurial experience; I get to serve my community

A company that achieve their goals every month

As an HR Administrator for Employment Equity and Skills Development & Training at Sita Consulting. My responsibilities were to assess the development of apprentices attached to different companies under the grants given by the different offices of the government. I worked with learners who needs assisted both in guidance to procedures and processes for their training and helped them achieve their goals. I learnt on how to assist in the five year planning for the Employment Equity for the companies and to ensure proper compliance and submission of the Employment Equity Act of companies

Self-employment is tough

I am a consultant. I need to find my own work, do it and deal with all problems myself. I need to provide my own med aid, pension fund, car, phone etc.

Pros: Flexible hours
