But not satisfied with promotions

According to my knowledge it is good to work for Sedibeng water because we deliver services to community accordingly we reach or target as set we do have ambition to serve our customer our vision is to make sure that we reach our goal and the Barrie's and challenge during business we dove stratege how to dela with them our aim is to see our organisation going forward At my department under finance we do have element of job but due our team work we overcome those aspect most of the time we assisting each other if there is any barriers we do strengthen our ability as a team so that we can work together and reach organisational goal I have learn a lot at my organisation we work as team most of the time.we take organisation goal,mission and bison forward as a team.

Pros: It will be added advantage to me cause i'll doing practica job not only theory that what l'm saying it is inline with my studies

Gained basic learning experience

My job experience was finance trainee driving but I was placed in the supply chain department (stores) It was a demanding job, my communication skills improved. I became analytical as I had to always pay attention to detail. I learned to better work under pressure and timeously. My duties was to ensure there is stock for the daily operation of the water board. Communication with suppliers and to ensure invoices were sent for payment. My contract ended this year in January 2019.

Cons: No opportunity for growth

Learning curve

Worked there for only 5 months great people ,. Growth

I have a daily schedule that changes per week as that would feed my month end duties. I have monthly meetings with my subordinates as well as my seniors and this keeps us in touch with what is expected of us. I have learnt a lot from both my seniors as well as my subordinates, and this has shown me that knowledge is a two way stream, it may come also from the bottom. I enjoy a happy team work. Reconciliations are challenging especially when accounts are not balancing and also Financial reporting

Pros: I do act as Management Accountant when my senior is on leave or not available
Cons: I do work long hours during month end and also during the Audit periods

Excellent learning experience

I arrived at the company not knowing much about a quality laboratory. The time I spent in the company has taught me a lot about team work. In a typical working day one will not be able to complete all the day's tasks, however, with great team work in the laboratory we are able to complete tasks. I have learned a lot about technical aspects of the laboratory, assurance of results and quality management systems. I enjoy being around people that are supportive and inquisitive, in that way I get to learn more.

Cons: After grooming, trainees are not being retaied

Continuous learning

The industry is challenging, with something new to learn regularly. Working in the HSE field gives an opportunity to interact with people from different departments, with various professional backgrounds and characters.

Pros: Enhance learning and interpersonal skills
Cons: Excessive traveling
