Great experience

Great experience of being rotated to all the quality aspects in food technology.Always working under pressure I must prioritize what needs to be done first or what's more important.We always had a good team who work together and assisting each other to solve problems which may arise. I have learned alot more of how food industry operate and food safety culture. I've also learn how to manage and work together with people. I enjoyed to be hands on and be involved in everything that has gained me the experience I have today. MOSTLY I enjoy the system field you become hand on with the whole site Challenges when you I've been questioned for doing right just because company would want more sales than good quality.ive spent 3years but no permanent post that has been a big challenge. I've leaved the 3yesrs trying to prove my self.But I've gained a lot of experience during the time

Hard working, innovative and works well in teams. I love to lead, but love even more to enjoy.

My job currently requires me to construct and manage maintenance plans and as well as coordinate any work associated with this, ensure reliability by ensuring the strategy for maintenance is correct, as well as tracking and reporting on relevant KPIs. I am someone who enjoy interaction with people and enjoy working in such an environment. The most challenging aspects is also working with the people, as when I arrived here there were little to no structures and this required me to change the culture and philosophy - this has been challenging as people have a lot of resistance. I have learnt patience as well as negotiation skills. I enjoy the problem solving capability working in this environment as well. I have had the opportunity to lead in the company, but after a restructure, there has been a choice of experience - which i do not have more that 10 years of yet. I do believe that this has limited my ability to grow - this is why i am looking for another opportunity to grow.

Pros: Lots of problems - thus there are lots of opportunities to solve problems.
Cons: Little to no real room for growth, little direction as a team - no strategy.

More growth and self development

My daily routine are quite interesting. I work in the office and in the vessels depending on which vessels are alongside. I have been exposed in engaging with big bosses (Directors) and other external specialist (Surveyors) . I enjoy working out of the office mostly as I get to engage easily with other people regarding safety related issues and get their recommendations and comments . The most challenging thing is that some some people they don't take safety serious as much as we try to preach safety culture everyday. I hold a good relationship with my co-workers. I work from 08:00- 17:00. ;00 - 17 ;00

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: I can not be able to further my studies.

Working at Sea harvest

Working at sea harvest has been both exciting and challenging at the same time. For me the most challenging part was the transition from a slow pace environment to the fast pace environment and working with fresh fish. I have learned a lot during my time at sea harvest and that helped me build up my confidence. The typical day at is coming in at 7 and checking if the Qcs are present, then take a walk in the factory to check the general hygiene and the quality of the fish. Then verify the QC check papers, send out daily reports to relevant people. Getting involved when there's trials being conducted in the factory. Doing internal audits. I had learned how to handle a project from start to finish, my leadership skills have also improved. I have learned a lot from QCs and we have great working relationship based on mutual respect.

Excellent in adapting new things, always looking for a room of growth.

The previous job had a lot of day to day activities like setting up meetings for managers or directors. Make necessary bookings and calling clients to confirm availability. My colleagues and I always had a great relationship of working together and maintaining a high stardard of work.

Excellent in learning new things and addepting to a new environment. Like challenges, work very well under pressure and in an open environment. Work mainly with Excel, word and Internet.

Best in class maintenance management

My interest in mechanical engineering, especially the maintenance management and drawing of designs part, is simply because I have an innovative mind and the fact I love to realize developed ideas.

Learning curve

It is nt a bad company,but management is very slow,especially with the leaderships and when you full time employee things are fine.otherthing is it doesn't recognize your other skills.

Good exposure to all segments of the business

relationships can be better. a lot of back stabbing and working against each other. internal politics. good development opportunities for staff at lower levels but not middle management
