SDM consulting Reviews

Step up ladder

-Capturing of data and updating of databases -Quiet friendly environment where colleagues get to know each other, we rotate working in groups -What I have learnt at work is how to interact with clients -What I enjoy most is going onsite meeting new people in the business, networking . and getting new perspective regarding the scope of my work -The most challenging part of the job when interacting with difficult clients, you must be able to know how to control your emotions

Pros: Business opportunities
Cons: Chance of promotion are limited

Lack of growth and lack of policies

Working for SDM is not something i would highly recommend for anyone. The colleagues and team i work with are good people, we butt heads now and again but we always have one goal, and that is to ensure that our work goals are met. What i enjoyed the most from the company, was when i was finally promoted, this after 3 years of proving myself and pushing for the position. Moat challenging aspects of SDM is that they have no protocol for anything, they never inform in advance, they just do things and only let you after, they lack proper planning, their work and projects are not challenging and there is very very limited space to grow as an employee.

Pros: Young and vibrant company
Cons: limited growth opportunities, no company policies on place

I'm a eager learner, never afraid to take on new challenges.

SDM Consulting is a private firm that was contracted to DOD(Department of defence to carry out various asset management positions within the DOD. Many of those tasks included tagging and scanning of office equipment, such as computers, chairs, bookshelves and any other moveable or imoveable assets belonging to the DOD.

Pros: pay was decent
Cons: Never given the opportunity to grow, lack of communication between employer and employees, too much favouritism.
